Sicily Wedding Photographer

I’M

Gianmarco Amico (b. 1991), Sicily wedding photographer, based in Taormina, specializing in luxury wedding photography.
In recent years I covered more than 50 weddings in Sicily, capturing the love and emotions of many couples from all over the world, with different traditions, cultures and needs but with the same dream, to live a fairytale wedding among the beauties and traditions of Sicily.
Sicily is a perfect setting for a romantic and unforgettable wedding, in fact, you could receive fantastic wedding photographs among the historical monuments or in the suggestive landscapes of places such as Taormina, Aeolian Islands, Agrigento, Palermo, Noto, Catania and many others.

You can also savor and appreciate the traditions and typical Sicilian food in one of the many wedding venues in Sicily, where you can organize a wedding with a truly special Sicilian ceremony.
For this reason, it is very important to rely on a Sicilian wedding photographer with a lot of experience, who knows how to foresee and capture the important moments and who knows how to guide you in decisions about the wedding day in general.
Contact me and I will be happy to advise you and give you precious ideas and suggestions to make your wedding day perfect.

The story of my life and my photographic style

My father was an amateur photographer, and although I can’t call myself the son of an artist, photography has always been a part of my life. He enjoyed developing film at home and often took me along when he photographed the hills near our house or worked on his photographic projects against the pollution from coal plants. At home, film rolls and cameras were a daily presence, but my father never photographed a wedding or a model. My career began with fashion photography, and fashion still plays a significant role in my creative journey. In 2011, I photographed my first wedding in Taormina, Sicily. At the time, I didn’t have a single wedding image in my portfolio, but I had received an important recognition from National Geographic for landscape photography. Despite this, my first wedding couple trusted me to document their special day, and I will always be grateful for that. This first wedding marked the beginning of a new career path that I continue to follow proudly today. Since then, I have photographed over 250 couples around the world, traveling countless times with one goal in mind: to document love in the most artistic and thoughtful way possible.
